Wilfried Nancy declared he was not afraid of losing his job, claiming, “The team is extremely close to changing our fortunes,” in the wake of edging perilously close to the exit with a heavy setback against the Ibrox side.

Nancy’s Persistent Belief
He remains focused on the fact the side play well for 45 minutes at a time. In fact, were it not for poor finishing they would have been greater than 1-0 up. “The performance had merit other than the fact that we haven’t scored our chances,” he said. “I accept that we lost, but I must remain fair.
“The level we had at times was exceptionally high. That is a fact. I wouldn't talk like that if it was different. That is the reason, in terms of results, I noted we've seen this before. Which is why I feel we are nearly there to getting it right. Right now: small things.”
“We produced many, many good things that we did, once more. The issue now comes down to performing for 90 minutes. My narrative would be different the same. This is why I am a big believer we will manage to fix this.”
Röhl’s Cautious Outlook
The victorious boss was cautious about a championship push even after what felt like a statement victory. “One match at a time, then we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The confidence in the group is immense.”
