The Celebrity Traitors Final Review – A Remarkable Finish!

Did the winner execute a masterstroke? Or did the trusting players simply perform really – I mean mind-blowing badly? We will argue through digital feeds for ages, in any case the victor of the debut – and probably not the concluding – series of The Celebrity Traitors is the sly Alan Carr.

When first anointed by the emcee, viewers assumed he wouldn’t last even sixty minutes. And he did not. “I’m unwell. I’ve got a sweating problem and am unable to hold a secret.” Additionally, he fails to murmur or recall if he had secured a shield.

Surrounded, however, by several of the least astute contestants of the game since records began, he made it through, developing into the role with terrifying ease. He wrapped up with a dramatic touch, erupting with somewhat fake crying about how difficult it had been for him to bear the lethal responsibility.

The last two faithfuls, rushed to comfort him (“It has been ripping me to pieces!”). Audiences elsewhere, one could imagine heavenward looks and yells.

The Final Showdown

As things commenced of the final, there had been five left contestants of the original 19. After one last group mission, including a railway engine, a cash sum in locked boxes, keys and clues placed within the compartments, and two metal-bound caskets (“I took the lead a bit there,” remarks one player of the unwrapping. “As I was prepared to lose a finger”), they assembled for their last round table.

A pair of players cast their votes for another player, in spite of the academic’s notable history of thinking his way to every incorrect decision possible. I hold strong in my view that the individual would have made the most superb betrayer, but as a loyalist he was catastrophic.

He was able to vote for a fellow participant at the gathering, nevertheless, and she was accurately eliminated finally.

Sorrow and Forgiveness

Now we are four. One struggles to describe to detail what transpired following. A particular player … felt a hesitation. A period when he doubted his best friend. One of the greatest friendships of our or any age, between the hugest man and the most diminutive character on the screen, the sportsman and the puzzlemaster, staggered under the impact as the uncertain player displayed his final slate to reveal his closest friend’s name.

The eliminated contestant remained steady – his nature does not allow for it – but if he could, he would have. “Yet I care for you,” the friend said, hopelessly.

The removed participant departed, the last duo thought they were safe and subsequent to an activity involving tossing bags into a inferno, the three chose to finish the game.

As the sole last betrayer, Alan was declared the winner and claimed the complete cash sum for the children’s cancer charity. However, the crucial point is that when the emcee led the five to a meeting on the castle steps, forgiveness was swift.

Parting with the Players

I am going to, together with the in excess of 13 million other audience members, long for each one. (Except for a couple of participants who lacked the occasion to make an impact, and another who did not express regret for botching a specific task.)

I am going to regret the loss of the profound rage of an individual participant, the dramatic grief of another, the total incapacity of one more player to take things anything other than personally.

I shall miss a certain player’s distrust of complex vocabulary, two contestants’ wit, an artist’s pure charisma, a star as the essence of everything that stays positive in this imperfect reality, an experienced presenter as television’s last remaining showman, a gentle participant and the relentless avuncularity of an adored individual, together with all the finalists themselves.

Most importantly I will pine for the grace and elegance of one specific player, so supremely noble even when yelling into a shaft or breaking wind in a cabin. As the presence beneath the presenter’s locks highlighted on multiple times, you were, mostly, inept in the competition. Yet you proved wonderful, exceptional diversion.
